Every year toy companies release new board games. We love games that the entire family can play together. There is no doubt that some of these will be some of the best toys 2013. We had a sit down with some of the new board games. Some of these board games are designed for younger kids but some are designed for bigger kids. Here are our favorites.

Fibber
Here is a game that encourages you to tell lies. Everybody gets funny looking glasses and a nose to wear. The player with the shortest nose at the end of the game wins. The game requires 3 to 4 players. You are supposed to deal out the cards evenly to all the players. The game starts out on the Bigfoot square. One player has to call out how many Bigfoot cards they are laying down. The others have to decide if the player is telling the truth or just fibbing. If you accuse somebody of fibbing and they are not, then you add a nose to your glasses. The opposite is true as well. To mix things up, there are wildcards which can be used as any card. Once all the noses are gone, whoever has the shortest nose wins.

Crappy Birthday
All games are about being happy. Here is a game that breaks that mold. It is all about receiving gifts that you never asked for. This game is fun with more people. You have to pretend it is somebody's Birthday. Players have to pick something that they think the Birthday boy or girl would not want to receive. The Birthday kid has to pick the worst present. Whoever picked it gets to keep the card and scores a point. The first player to score 3 points win. If you have ever played Apples to Apples, this game is very similar to that.

Spot It On The Road
If you are looking for a game to play in the car, get Spot It On The Road. Spot It Games are very popular. There are many different themes that you can get. This one features a travel theme. On the card there are things like benches, cars, and traffic lights. Everybody gets a card. If you see something on your card, you have to yell it out. Whoever is the last to find an object on their card has to pick up all the cards. The player with the least amount of cards wins. There are different types of games. Some work better in the car and others are perfect for a hotel room.

Cut The Rope
Last year, the Angry Birds board game was one of the hottest games. We are seeing more and more apps being turn into board games. Here is Cut The Rope. The object is to knock over the stars and feed Omnom. There are different challenge pieces that show you how to arrange the pieces. You place the candy piece on the launcher. You have 4 tries to knock down all the pieces and feed Omnom.

Sound It. Found It.
This game is for 3 or more players. To play, one person picks up a card with a word on it. They have to make the sound on that card and other people have to guess what makes the sound on the game board. You go through all the cards and the player who guesses the most sounds wins.

Scribbo
This game requires a little bit of thinking so it is not for everyone. It's bingo with words. You have to form words.

Best Toys for 2013 Christmas Holiday Include Tablets, Monsters, And Dancing Toys

According to one of the biggest retailers, the best toys for 2013 will include tablets, monsters, and dancing toys. It is only August, but Hamleys is already gearing up for the holiday season. We know that it is a bit early to get into a festive mood but don't tell that the Hamleys. Two months ago they released their predictions for the hottest toys for the year. We are sure that they are already playing Christmas music in their store.

There is no surprise that Barbie and Mickey Mouse made the list. Barbie is one of the most popular dolls for girls and it doesn’t look like she is going anywhere. Mickey Mouse started dancing his way into kids’ hearts last year with Dance Star Mickey. However, hot on their tails in a new toy based on the Moshi Monsters.

Every year Razor releases a new hot ride on toy. This year, kids can ride a new Razor scooter that was inspired by a classic Italian Scooter. This scooter looks so cool. If kids are a bit more reckless they can take a ride on the MC350 Dirt Bike from Razor. This bike is perfect for some off-road fun. It’s got large bouncy tires and can reach speeds just a little over 10mph.

Nobody has to feel left out. Toddlers can actually ride their own scooter with the Mini Micro 3-in-1. This scooter can actually adjust into 3 different scooters depending on your child's age and experience. We love that it grows with children.
Even families can have fun with a fun board game called Bum Face. This game rewards players with fast reflexes. The object is to bash the opponent in the face. If you land a punch four times on your opponent's face you knock them out of the ring. Losers can also gain points by hitting their bum. It a quirky game filled with odd humor but families should enjoy it.

Technology looks like it is going to be big again this year. We are getting two new tablets from LeapFrog and VTech. LeapFrog has gone back to the drawing board and updated the hardware of its kids’ tablet. It features better hardware but the battery life is improved. VTech has also made some changes to its tablet and included a camera that rotates. There is a new Moshi Monsters toy that integrates with an iPhone. You can bring your own monster to life after you download an app. You stick your iPhone into the toy and then it becomes the face. You can dress your monster up or even play music through him. Our favorite part is poking him in the eyes. Kids don't try to do this with your friends.

Do your children love Mickey Mouse? Well Mickey has been busy learning some new moves. Don't call him Mickey anymore. Simply call him M3. This mouse has now got break dancing skills. Watch him pull off moves like the Groove Copter. His moves will leave you speechless and breathless.

Barbie is inviting kids to her Dream house with the Barbie Dream House. This is the house that every girl dreams of having and it’s even got a pink chandelier.

It's time to have fun talking about some of the best toys 2013 christmas season from LeapFrog. There are a couple of items here that will surprise you. LeapFrog is releasing a whole new line of toys for 2012. We love LeapFrog toys because they are fun and educational.Here are the newest LeapFrog toys coming out this year. LeapFrog has a new line out called Touch Magic. With this line whenever you touch or swipe the toy it reacts.

Touch Magic Learning Bus
This Bus is designed for children 2 and up. When you touch the screen, the toy makes sound effects. You can even swipe it. The Bus teaches children their alphabets. Children just have to touch the letters and it will teach children how to make the letter's sound. It will also tell them a word that starts with that letter. There are even games. One game has you finding different objects. Under each letter is an object. You simply have to touch the right object. You can even play music with the built in piano keyboard. In this mode, the wheels become drum. There is so much to do. It is a great way for preschoolers to learn their alphabets.

Touch Magic Rocking Guitar
It is never too early to start rocking out on the guitar. With the Touch Magi Rocking Guitar, you can play either an electric guitar or a regular guitar. There are 10 different songs prebuilt in. Kids will be able to control the tempo. The faster you go the faster the song goes. There are a lot of different sound effects. You can even add little riffs. There are buttons to make the audience go wild and even drums.

Touch Magic Discovery Town
This toy reminds us of the Touch Magic Learning Bus. You touch different objects. There are two different scenes. There is a town scene and a scene featuring popular people or things that you see every day. There are three different modes of play. There is one mode where you touch the object and it tells you what the object is. There is a game mode. The last mode is a music and sound effect mode. When you touch different objects they make different sounds.

Pop And Play Piano
Kids love playing the piano. Kids can play with this piano in 4 different ways. Children can learn their numbers or even about different colors. They can also learn how different instruments sound. Parents have to be warned that this toy is pretty loud and it can get annoying. You can even play music.

LeapPad 2
LeapFrog is improving the LeapPad 2 with a better screen, better processor, and double the memory. Even with all the hardware improvements, the battery life is better. The company is also improving both of the cameras. Because of the upgraded resolution on the camera there are more games taking advantage of it. There are even some augmented reality games. Everything looks and feels better on the new LeapPad.

Leapster GS
The Leapster GS is a vast improvement over the previous gaming system from LeapFrog. The first thing you will notice is that it feels a lot more comfortable in your hands. All of the buttons are easier to reach and press. We love the larger 3.5 inch screen. It's even got a camera. It's backwards compatible with the old software.

New Batman Rises Toys Are Some Of The Best Toys For Kids In 2013

With a new Batman movie out, there are a ton of new Batman Rises toys also coming out. We think a lot of these toys will be some of the best toys for kids in 2013. Kids love Batman. These toys are sure to be better than Christian Bale's Acting in the Batman movies. Christian Bale looks like he is in pain when he talks in Batman. There is no doubt that Michael Keaton was the best Batman. In the last Batman movie, Heath Ledger made the perfect Joker. The Joker won't be appearing in the new movie. The new villain of the Batman movie is Bane. We think that Anne Hathaway makes the perfect Catwoman. The new line of toys will feature all of the characters from the movie including Batman, Bane, and Catwoman. Here are the most amazing Batman Rises toys.

The Dark Knight Rises Cowl & Batarang
There is no doubt that kids are going to want to be like Batman. If you want to run around pretending to be Batman you are going to need the cowl. This mask features Batman’s iconic pointy ears. It also comes with a Batarang. However, the batarang is a cheap piece of plastic that most people will either toss or lose. Then you can "act" like Batman. Christian Bale has showed us that anyone can be Batman. Kids are going to running around saying "I am Batman."

These 4.5 inch figures feature QuickTek technology. You place your action figure inside this weird looking box. It locks in place. Then you press a button and the figure becomes armed with a cool weapon. It's an easy way to transform your figure but we think that the coffin like box that you put Batman in looks funny. The weird thing is that the Batman figure comes in different colors but it is the same mold. There is even a Bane action figure.

QuickTek Attack Armor Bat-Pod
Watch Batman's Bat-Pod transform with the push of a button. The Bat-Pod is ready to shoot a missile and take out the bad guys. Bane is no match for Batman and his Armor Bat-Pod.

The Dark Knight Rises The Bat
When the Bat vehicle was first announced, everyone wanted to know more about it. This toy actually revealed a secret vehicle that actually appeared in the new movie. This toy launches Batman 10 feet into the air. The special launch able action figure is included. We found that it doesn't work that well. Sometimes it gets jammed.

Tumbler Remote Control Vehicle
This camo vehicle is remote controlled. It moves forward and back and side to side. It works from up to 30 feet away.

The Dark Knight Rises U-Command Bat-Pod
Now here is a cool toy. He's got a cool wheel on the front. There is a lot of functionality with this toy. He is programmable. You can even make the toy make sound effects

U-Command Batman Talking Action Figure
This is another programmable Batman toy. Help Batman protect Gotham City against Bane by controlling his every movement. He can move forward, backward, and turn around.

Argos’ 10 Best Toys For Christmas 2013

Like other retailers, Argos has followed suit as released it top 10 best toys for Christmas 2013. On the top of their list is a new version of Furby by Hasbro. Most of the toys on the list represent how ingrained technology has become not only in our lives but also the lives of our children. Most children already know how to use tablets and iPhones. Technology helps push the toy industry forward. However, you don’t need technology for a great toy. All of the toys help children use their imagination to create their own fantasy worlds and stories. Children will not only have fun but learn at the same time.

Furby has been updated with LED lights for eyes which gives him a greater emotional connection to children. The toy features a lot more sensors this time. It can react to where you touch or tickle it. The toy works with an app. With the app loaded on the iPad or a Smartphone, children can feed their Furby or speak to it. There is a Furbish dictionary on the app which allows children to translate Furbish the English. Over the last couple of years we have seen more and more toys implement the use of technology. The best toys should be able to grow and evolve with children. Argos said that it was difficult picking just one toy, but they ultimately settled on Furby. When Furby was released in 1998, it sold 40 million units. Hasbro hopes to replicate the success it had with the old Furby.

Argos also stated that electronic tablets for kids are going to be a popular again this year. Both the LeapPad 2 and VTech InnoTab 2 made their list. These tablets are built for kids. This means that they can survive accidents. The cases are made of plastic and designed to take abuse from kids. LeapFrog has improved the cameras on its tablet and VTech has added a rotatable camera to the VTech. They said that the best part is that parents can finally reclaim their iPads from their kids. Both parents and kids will be happy.

Hasbro dominated the list with three entries. There was Furby. Another toy that made is as their web shooting Spiderman toy which shoots webs from its hands. Twister is getting a makeover with Twister Dance. The game is endorsed by the pop sensation Britney Spears. It features its own music but you can also use your own music. It has players getting twisted as they try to put their foot on the colors that light up. It reminds us of Dance Dance Revolution.

Mickey didn’t make the list but Minnie Mouse did with the Minnie Mouse Precious Pets Tour Van. We were happy that the Ghost Train play set from LEGO made the list. This line of LEGO toys is seriously underrated. It features spooky monsters and glow in the dark components. A Batman toy called 'The Bat' made the list. This toy ejects a Batman figure out into the air. Stardolls also made this list. Stardolls are actually found online but now we are getting a physical version of them. Cinderella is celebrating her Birthday with Cinderella feature doll which features a glowing dress.
